The low energy effective theory of the strong interactions exploits the chiral symmetry properties of the QCD Lagrangian. Many low energy phenomena depend crucially on determinations of form factors of decays on this theory. We have initiated and developed a programme for improving the electromagnetic form factor of the pion, and certain kaon-pion transition form factors using classical techniques of analyticity and dispersion relations. Part of our work is based on our modern adaptation of some results first established by V. Singh and A. Raina.
