Description
In high-energy proton-nucleus collisions, J/ψ production is attenuated compared to proton-proton collisions, and at large enough rapidity (and moderate transverse momentum) this nuclear attenuation might be explained by the medium-induced gluon radiation associated to the underlying partonic process. In the first part, I will review some qualitative features of J/ψ nuclear suppression, as a motivation to study parton energy loss in the ``forward'' kinematics. In the second part, I will present recent results on the fully coherent induced radiation associated to hard forward processes, which depend interestingly on the color structure of the partonic process. Finally, I will show the predictions for J/psi nuclear suppression of a simple phenomenological model based on such ``parton energy loss''.
