Description
A light scalar radion, accessible to present-day experiments, arises in a model which has a mechanism to stabilize the inter-brane distance in a Randall-Sundrum model. The radion can mix with the Standard Model Higgs scalar, thereby offering distinct signatures that can be probed at colliders such as the LHC. In this talk, the mixed radion-Higgs scenario will be discussed in the light of LHC 8-TeV data. This analysis will be extended to a model where the Standard Model particles can access the bulk spacetime as well as the brane. The recent observation of 750 GeV diphoton excess will be explored in this scenario.
