Description |
After a brief overview of GRBs the talk will focus of recent developments in our understanding of gamma-ray burst prompt emission mechanisms. Properties of high energy emission (>100 MeV) detected by Fermi from a number of bursts and their possible origin will be described. I will also describe GRB afterglow radiation and the measurements of magnetic fields in highly relativistic shocks associated with GRBs. |
