Description
I will discuss a simplified model of dark matter, taken to be a Majorana fermion, coupling to quarks via colored scalar mediators. The spin independent dark matter-nucleon cross-section vanishes at tree level. In order to determine direct detection constraints, 1-loop leading order contributions to the spin independent cross-section are evaluated. I will also discuss the importance of RG evolution of wilson coefficients, relevant for direct detection cross-sections. Finally, I will present LHC cross-sections at NLO precision and collider constraints evaluated by recasting LHC searches.
