Description
In this talk, we will try and describe the experience of an observer
falling into a black hole using the AdS/CFT correspondence. We will do
this by expressing correlation functions of bulk fields, which such an
observer would measure, in terms of correlation functions on the
boundary. This allows us to translate questions about quantum gravity
into more familiar questions about the boundary theory. We comment on
the implications of this construction for the fuzzball proposal and
the information paradox.
