Description |
In the talk, I will explain some analyses of the global characteristics of Heavy Ion collisions measured with the ATLAS detector. Instead of reviewing the status of ATLAS results, which can be found in many excellent reports, this talk attempts to use some standalone examples that explain general approaches to measuring various event characteristics. I will show how the choice of the analysis strategy affects the accuracy of the measurements and what contributes to the final uncertainties of the measurements. The talk is primarily intended for students who are interested in data analysis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6ToJAavgSw |
