16th International Conference on Heavy Quarks and Leptons (HQL2023)

The XVI International Conference on Heavy Quarks and Leptons (HQL 2023) will take place in India at TIFR from November 28 to December 2, 2023. The conference focuses on the investigation of heavy quarks, specifically charm, bottom, and top quarks, with potential expansions to intriguing subjects related to strange quarks. Additionally, the conference will encompass neutrino oscillation studies and provide fresh perspectives on the muon and tau lepton sectors. 

It continues the tradition of regular scientific meetings, lectures followed by poster session.

		TIFR is a government aided institution, so we need the passport details of international participants to provide to our nodal ministry for obtaining necessary clearances that will aid in the visa processing. Therefore, you are requested to share the passport and personal details for you as well as for accompanying persons (if any). Participants affiliated to all non-Indian institutes will be considered as international participants. 

		

		International participants and the accompanying person should submit passport details.

		

		

		Steps to Follow:

		

		(I)Registration:

		Registration open till Monday, 31 October 2023    (23:59:59 IST)

		

		Please fill the Registration from

	

		(II) Payment:

		Pay the appropriate registration fee based on your category and fill the payment detils using the Payment link.

	

		The registration is conformed only after the sucessful payment.

		

		Cancellation refund will be processed after the conference.

		

		(III)Poster Presentation:

		Dedicated poster session to encourage young participants will be organised in the Homi Bhabha Auditorium Foyer.

	

		If you want to present a poster, you will require an indico account in TIFR indico server.

		Send the Login ID to hql2023@tifr.res.in for activation of the account.

	

		Once the account is activated submit the abstract before 31rd October 2023 in mentioned format.

		(IV) Accommodation: 

	

		The accommodation charges for the conference shall paid by the participants.

		

		We have made block bookings for the Hostel/Guest house/Hotels available with the discounted charges, details in  Accommodation details tab.

		

		Hotel Taj President:

		For reserving the rooms at the hotel Taj President  with discounted rates for the conference. please click HQL TIFR. The link shall be active till 12th November 2023.

		

		We would NOT automatically arrange accommodation for any participant in HOSTEL/GUEST-HOUSE/HOTEL, unless requested through e-mail to conference e-mail.

		

		Incase you want to book directly with one of the selected hotels and avail the discounted rated as given, please send e-mails to respective hotels with code "TIFR HQL2023 conference" in subject.

		

		(V) Local Transport: 

		We will be arranging transport from the hotels as in "Accomodation Details".

		

		(VI) Excursion:

		Local tour information will be shared, we can arrange any such tours. The cost of the tour will be taken care by the participants. This amount will be collected later once the tours are final.
