16th International Conference on Heavy Quarks and Leptons (HQL2023)

Dear HQL participants,

Participants at the TIFR guesthouse: Don't forget to take the complimentary breakfast provided at the guesthouse. The Homi Bhabha Auditorium (HBA) is within walking distance, about 500 m, from the guesthouse. Note that registration begins at 8:45 a.m. tomorrow.

Participants at the HBCSE guesthouse: A TIFR bus will be waiting in the parking lot to pick you up for TIFR. The bus will leave at 8 a.m. and is expected to reach HBA around 8:45 a.m..

Participants at Chateau Windsor, Astoria and Vivanta by Taj President: A bus (route# 1) will leave Chateau Windsor at 8 a.m. and then Hotel Astoria, which is about 500 m away. On the way, it will pick up participants staying at Taj President by around 8:30 a.m.. It is expected to reach HBA around 8:45 a.m..

Participants at the Fariyas Hotel: An Innova (route# 2) will leave Fariyas at 8:15 a.m. and is expected to reach HBA around 8:45 a.m..

Participants at Bombay YMCA: An Innova (route# 3) will leave Bombay YMCA at 8:15 a.m. and is expected to reach HBA around 8:45 a.m.; on the way, it will pick up a participant staying at the Apollo Guesthouse.

Registration: The registration will be in the HBA foyer starting at 8:45 a.m.. Even if you can manage it before the opening session, you can do it during the breaks or even the following days.

WiFi: Eduroom works throughout the TIFR campus, including HBA. In addition, you can use the "TIFR-CONF" network with User name: ICHQL2023 and Password: Bpw@tifr21 (the same information will be in the registration passport).

Opening session: The opening session will be in the HBA at 9:15 a.m.. Following the first talk (Hot topics from Belle II), we will break for the high tea at 10 a.m. in the Almond Grove adjacent to the HBA. Throughout the conference, tea/coffee and lunch will be served in the Almond Grove.

Plenary talks: If you are presenting a plenary talk, please upload your slides at least 3 hours in advance of your talk. By now, you must have an account with the TIFR Indico server. If not, please email us at <hql2023@tifr.res.in>.

Poster session: If you are presenting a poster, please display it on one of the poster-boards located in the HBA foyer. In case you need pins or anything else, contact the registration desk or one of the volunteers. The poster session is expected to start at 6 p.m. following the plenary talk and will continue until the cultural program begins.

Cultural program and Welcome Dinner: For the cultural program, we have the Sitar play by Ustad Shaheed Parvez Khan starting at 7 p.m., which will run up to 8:15 p.m.. Following that, we have dinner in the West Lawn, just outside of HBA.

Drop-off at the respective hotel/guesthouse: Once the dinner is over, we will have the same bus or Innova drop participants off at their respective places.
